Make a real difference today

Volunteering for a domestic and sexual abuse charity, like Safety Net, can make a real difference in the lives of people affected by abuse. Taking action against domestic and sexual violence is a growing concern. High-profile cases such as the murder of Sarah Everard or the abuse perpetrated by Jimmy Saville mean there is increasing concern about these issues. By lending your energy to volunteering with domestic and sexual abuse survivors, you’ll be playing an active role in challenging a culture where harassment and violence are the norm.
“I learnt all about planning and managing group sessions and engaging clients who were at times nervous and shy.”
