New! Office Manager

Part time - 21 hours per week.

We're looking for an Office Manager who will oversee all administrative and office support to the Safety Net team, volunteers and Trustees. This is an on-site post ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office and its functions.

Having previous experience in office management, you will be well organised, proactive and efficient, as well as a great team player with effective people skills. In addition to improving our day-to-day operations and company procedures, you will also be responsible for data protection and health and safety.

Hours: 21 hours per week (part time)

Pay: £24,577- £29,553 pro rata

Reports to: Head of Operations

Base: this is an office-based post that will be based in our headquarters in Carlisle.

Holiday: 30 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (pro rata), five to be taken at Christmas when the office is closed for two weeks.

Pension: an enhanced 4% employer contribution pension is available.

Staff wellbeing: high quality clinical supervision and case management, enhanced company sick pay and supportive team environment.

Induction: full induction, including training on domestic and sexual abuse support, and providing a trauma informed service.

Progression and training: career development opportunities and regular access to extensive CPD (internal and external training).

New! Business Support Administrator

Full time - 35 hours per week.

This role is pivotal to ensuring the seamless operation of our service, with a significant focus on managing daily office and building administration tasks, and supporting service delivery. We're seeking an efficient and organised individual with strong IT proficiency, and a good working knowledge of databases and MS Excel.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play a key role in understanding and addressing their needs, providing essential support and information. Effective communication skills are therefore crucial, along with the ability to convey information across a variety of formats and platforms, using inclusive language.

Hours: 35 hours per week (full time)

Pay: starting salary of £23,861-£26,775, dependant on experience

Reports to: Head of Operations

Base: this is an office-based post that will be based in our headquarters in Carlisle, occasional homeworking may be possible depending on service needs.

Freelance Children and Young People’s Therapists / Counsellors

Full time or part time hours - minimum 4 sessions per week.

Safety Net drives forward our work to help improve the lives of those effected by rape, exploitation, sexual and domestic abuse in Cumbria. This is an exciting time to join our dynamic and expanding team. We are looking for someone who is committed to making a difference to Children and Young people, someone who has enthusiasm , initiative and compassion and who enjoys working in a busy environment. Safety Net provides a tiered service provision based on a risk and needs-led assessment. We offer a range of trauma informed and holistic recovery approaches to working with individuals or whole families.

We offer an employee assistance package, clinical supervision, and case management.

There will be a full induction on processes and training around systems, process, role specific training, trauma, domestic and sexual abuse training.

We are a committed learning and development charity providing extensive CPD and career progression.

Reporting to: Head of Operations

Type of Contract: Freelance/Employed post would be considered for the right candidate.

Hours: Minimum of 7 hours ( 1 day , 4 clients a day)

Pay: A sessional rate of £35-£40 per client session (including all client administration) depending on accreditation, qualifications, and experience.

Base: This freelance post can be a hybrid role, with the successful candidate working remotely from home, but with the expectation to travel to attend meetings and training when required. The successful candidate may wish to offer face to face sessions and travel across Cumbria working remotely from approved outreach offices and our headquarters in Carlisle.
